It's time to tear up those standard ceremony templates. Let's create something unique together.
I love my job - and hopefully, it shows.
What ever your reason for having a celebrant led ceremony, you need to have total trust in your wedding celebrant. My wedding, vow renewal, baby naming and funeral clients have been more than happy with my services. Unique & Personalised Service
I have never been to a celebrant wedding before and so was not sure what to expect. However, I was really delighted with the unique and personalised service that Debbie gave. Everyone couldn’t get over what a fabulous ceremony she hosted and it was so refreshing to go to a wedding where the person conducting it had obviously got to know the bride and groom. It was the perfect start to a perfect day and I will be recommending Debbie to everyone thinking about getting married. (J. Adamson)
The best wedding they have ever been to
On behalf of myself and Paul we both want to say a massive thank you for what you did for us, especially at the short notice of what it was. It really was truly incredible and you made our day perfect. All our guests have said it was the best wedding they have been to, they loved the humour, loved how personal it was and even the Star Wars puns went down a treat! (Rachel & Paul Savill)
If you would like to speak to a

I'm a story teller - let me tell yours
I have been working as a public relations consultant for most of my career and after attending a civil celebrant wedding decided to train to become a celebrant.
The skills I have developed in my PR career such as event planning and management, interviewing, writing and presentation are very similar to those required by a successful wedding celebrant and my unique skill set is very much in demand across the North West of England.
Far exceeded our expectations
Debbie conducted our wedding ceremony in December 2018, she really summed up our story in beautiful words and made the service fully personal. Her service far exceeded our expectation and would recommend her to any couple planning their big day. Thank you so much Debbie. xxx (Erin & David Martin)
A perfect day
Debbie was wonderful from the moment we met her. We wanted a very personable ceremony for our renewal of vows and Debbie created a beautiful service for us. Not a dry eye in the venue! Thank you so much for helping us create a perfect day for our friends and family. (Janet & Paul Howkins)
The celebrant movement began in Australia in the 1970s when, due to social changes, people were looking for alternatives to the traditional and sometimes impersonal wedding and funeral services. In the UK, the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants became the first organisation to introduce the movement. It started developing a professional training course for those interested in becoming a celebrant.
A civil celebrant is somebody who is trained by a professional organisation to write and deliver weddings, naming and funeral ceremonies. Civil celebrants are not humanists although the two terms are often confused and when you choose a civil celebrant there are no rules or restrictions about what you can say or do individually or collectively
Essentially, when using a civil wedding celebrant you really will be able to have the ceremony that you want – a truly bespoke ceremony.
Debbie is a member of The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (FPC) a professional networking and support organisation for Independent Celebrants. The FPC is a self-regulated professional body which sets standards for best-practice and fosters professionalism in celebrancy. Members are encouraged to continually update their skills through ongoing professional development, and are encouraged to work together to achieve more for the profession in which they work and for the families they serve.
